GAMES / COMPANY GUIDE

Minecraft.
Build your own kind of play.

Try a prompt for a small original block-building game. Understand what that means for a Minecraft subscription.

Which payment do you mean?

Minecraft game ownership and recurring Realms subscriptions are different purchases. Realms pays for a hosted multiplayer world.

Consider cancelling Realms if…

You no longer use the hosted world and are happy playing something else. Save your world first. A game-generation prompt is an experiment, not a server migration.

Keep Realms when…

You want friends to keep playing in your shared Minecraft world. This prompt provides no compatible multiplayer hosting or world import.

Subscription vs one code response.

Bedrock Realms: $3.99/month. Realms Plus or Java Realms: $7.99/month. USD; checked 13 September 2026.

Coding commonly needs retries and tool use. These figures do not estimate the cost of a finished game. We show no replacement savings because the outputs serve different purposes.

Choosing an assistant: GPT-6.1 Sol / Claude Sonnet 5.5 — value starting points. Claude Opus 5.5 — candidates for harder work. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash — budget candidates. GPT-6 Astra / Claude Fable 5.1 — specialist options. Compare a real task and the tools in your account; no guide claims equal results across models. Make it your own

Create an original, small single-player block-building game for a browser. Use a distinct name, original colors and simple geometric assets. Do not use Minecraft branding, textures, sounds or characters.

Target device: [desktop / phone / both]. Experience: a small explorable world where I can place and remove blocks, choose from five block types and save locally. Prefer a reliable 2D tile-building prototype first; only use 3D if the environment supports it well. Include clear controls, reset with confirmation and a short goal or challenge. No accounts, payments, online servers or multiplayer.

If file and code tools are available, create the files, run the game and test movement, block editing, save/reload and reset. Report what actually passed. Otherwise provide complete runnable code and simple launch instructions, clearly marking it as untested. Explain any browser storage limitations. Keep the first version small and list unfinished features honestly.

After I test it, use my feedback to fix one issue at a time. Do not claim this reproduces the full Minecraft game.

Already own Minecraft?

Try this gameplay prompt in your existing game. It does not require a new world service.

Design five original building challenges for [Java/Bedrock, version], with [available materials] and [time per challenge]. Give each a goal, material list, success checklist and an easier variation. Use no commands or mods.

Check the result.

Test controls, save and reload, and reset before investing more time. Keep copies of working versions. For the gameplay prompt, check materials against your installed edition.
